Floyd, a senior from Westland, capped off his decorated Madonna cross country career with his best finish at the NAIA National Championship when he crossed the line in second place with a time of 24:43. He was 3.5 seconds away from winning the National Championship. Over his four years as a Crusader, he was a four-time All-American and finished in the top 5 a total of three times in the final race and had an 11th place finish in his freshman season.
