Castro, a freshman from Sao Paulo, Brazil, helped the Crusaders win their first conference match of the 2019 campaign. In the game against Lawrence Tech, he scored the first goal of the match in just the second minute of the game. In the 74th minute of the match he assisted on Issei Ito’s game-winning goal. Castro and the Crusaders are now 4-1-2. This is Castro’s first Crusader of the Week nomination.
