Popko broke out in a huge way on Sunday, the second day for the team’s spring trip at the Tucson Invitational Games in Arizona as she went 7-for-7 with three doubles and a triple, drove in six and scored four times. The sophomore outfielder from Macomb also reached base an eighth time via a walk to finish the day with a perfect average and on-base percentage and slugged 1.714 in a pair of wins. She's leading the team through four games with a .667 average, a 1.083 slugging percentage and a .714 on-base percentage.
