Thacker, a junior, improved to 2-0 on the mound for the Crusaders with another dominant performance over Roosevelt University on Friday, Oct. 5. Thacker threw six innings, allowing four hits and one run, while striking out 10, just two shy of the single game record of 12 strikeouts by Josh Regits (2007) and Tyler Butzin (2018). This is the first time Thacker has received this award, finishing the fall with 13 strikeouts and a 2-0 record in 11 innings pitched.
