Shapic, also a junior, won the women’s side of the Wolverine Twilight out of 53 runners with a time of 18:44. Shapic outkicked her teammate in the final 200m to earn the victory. Madonna took the top three spots in the race to earn the team title with 19 points.

She was also named WHAC Runner of the Week for her efforts.
