JACKSON, Mich. – Madonna University men's and women's bowling competed in the first WHAC event of the 2026-27 season on Saturday at Jax 60 in Jackson, Michigan, with the men's team finishing 11th out of 11 teams and the women's team placing 12th out of 12 teams.
Men's Bowling
The Crusaders finished the three-game event with an overall team score of 5,739.
Dylan Jablonski led Madonna's individual performance, competing in all three games and posting scores of 224, 278 and 220. His 278 in Game 2 was the highest individual game for the Crusaders during the event and earned him on overall place of 4th for the entire match.
Landon Corley also competed in all three games, recording a 236 in Game 1 before finishing with scores of 146 and 151. Matthew Jones posted a consistent start to the event, recording a 206 in Game 1 and a 216 in Game 2 before finishing with a 176 in Game 3.
William Wolbrink bowled all three games for Madonna, posting scores of 147, 203 and 172. Kaden Cirata competed in the first two games, recording a 159 and 193, while Cam Salk competed in Game 3 and finished with a score of 146.
Madonna finished the event with a total score of 5,739, placing 11th in the 11-team men's field.
Women's Bowling
The Madonna women's team finished the event with an overall score of 4,565, placing 12th among the 12 competing teams.
Katelyn Pope led the Crusaders with scores of 189, 171 and 169 across the three games. Abigail Barrick followed with a 193 in Game 1, a 171 in Game 2 and a 135 in Game 3.
Hannah Thoms recorded scores of 163, 148 and 163, while Kaitlyn Mills posted a 139 in Game 1, 74 in Game 2 and 156 in Game 3.
Chelsea Pratt rounded out Madonna's lineup, recording scores of 106, 108 and 94 across the three games.
The Crusaders finished the opening WHAC event with a team total of 4,565, placing 12th in the 12-team women's field.
With the first WHAC event of the season now complete, both Madonna squads will continue their 2026-27 campaigns with the Midwest Collegiate Championships on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Imperial Lanes in Clinton Township, Michigan. .
