LIVONIA, Mich. – The Crusaders' Women's Soccer Team faced the Cougars from Cleary University (Mich.) in a night game in Howell, Mich. The Crusaders were looking to extend their winning streak to two games. The Crusaders and Cougars were deadlocked at one a piece and the Crusaders will walk away with a tie.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Crusaders are coming off a big win against Indiana Tech this past Saturday and were looking to put away the Cleary University Cougars in a night game in Howell, Mich. Senior and captain,
Morgan Stack, gets the scoring opened up for the Crusaders with an unassisted goal at the 22:41 minute mark. Only 11 minutes later the Cougars responded with a goal of their own by way of freshman forward, Morgan Vanos assisted by Payton Zeh. The game would remain scoreless the rest of the game and each team would receive a tie on their respective records.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The Crusaders generated 18 shots with nine being on goal.
- Morgan Stack picks up her third goal of the season.
UP NEXT:
The Women's Soccer Team will next play on Saturday October 19, 2024, at 3:00 PM when they travel to Adrian, Mich. to take on Sienna Heights University.
