LIVONIA, Mich.– The Madonna Crusader's women's soccer team is prepping for a rematch of last season's Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Semifinal against the same team in the University of Northwestern Ohio tomorrow, Nov. 9. The Crusaders will travel to Lima, Ohio to take on the top team in the WHAC and the No. 3 ranked team in the country.

UNOH had an undefeated conference season and is 17-1 overall with their only loss coming to No. 2 Keiser University back in September. While the Crusaders are sitting at 13-5-1 overall and 7-4 in the conference. The Racers advanced after a first-round 5-1 victory over Lourdes University. Madonna advanced after a 2-0 victory over Siena Heights.

UNOH and Madonna have met nine times previously, with the Racers winning eight of those matches. The Crusader's sole win came last year in the WHAC Semifinal game after a hard-fought 1-0 victory advanced them to the Championship game for the first time since 2008. In an early bout, the Racers were victorious by a 1-0 score with the only goal coming in the 87th minute of the match.

The winner will advance to face off against the winner of the Aquinas and Lawrence Tech matchup that will happen at 4 PM tomorrow as well. The final will be played at the highest remaining seed on Saturday, Nov. 16 with a time to be announced.
